Overview

The closure and re-operation activities are high-risk activities that are carried out on a regular basis and have wide methods and significant results.

However, many companies do not have specific methodologies and have not trained their employees on the best closure and re-operation applications.

This led to the creation of a historical gap in guidance and very few books on management of downtime and reboot operations. Unfortunately, many companies believe that this measure can be safely bypassed, but if the processes are not properly planned and controlled, these companies have serious consequences that could adversely affect the safety and budget of the company and its customers.

There are many examples of poor application of this procedure that have led to damage to people and businesses. As a result, those responsible for stop and reboot operations began to look for best practices and develop a strong methodology.

The stop-and-run management is based on the Carcharodon model as the best model in crash management. This model was created and refined by some international experts and experts in those procedures and then transformed into a strategic procedure that is used all over the world.
